remix youth

discover god & your purpose

OUR VISION
Remix Youth is the junior and senior high community of Grace Assembly of God. We are committed to creating a place where students can belong and discover God and their purpose. We meet every Wednesday and we have seasonal events for outreach, community, and discipleship building. All teens in 6th-12th grade are welcome to attend.

WHAT WE DO

Wednesdays: Every Wednesday Remix doors open at 6:30 PM for pre service games-ping pong, pool, foosball, or you can use our wifi for homework.  At 7 PM  Remix Youth begins and you can expect a night of games, meeting new friends, live music, a short message you can relate to, and discipleship in our connect groups.

Events: Every season we plan a few special events, parties, hang outs, and other opportunities for students to grow deeper in their faith and have fun while they are doing it! Events include: Fall Retreat, Summer Camp, Missions Trips, Fine Arts, Spring Youth Conference, Student Leadership Team, and various outreach projects.

  • New Series: Collide: When Heaven Collides With The Earth. Come discover how God works in humanity. We will speak on topics like freedom, diversity, authority, poverty, love, and so much more.
  • RMX Youth | Wednesdays 7PM- Live Music, Games, Message, and Connect Groups.
  • In compliance with Covid-19 related requirements and guidelines, we do ask for students to wear a mask, have their temperature taken at arrival, and practice social distancing.

2021 Fine Arts

We are excited to participate this year in the 2021 District and National Fine Arts Festival! This is a great opportunity for students to Discover the gifts and talents God has given them, to Develop these gifts, and to Deploy them in Fine Arts but also in their lives too. Every student that participates will be assigned a mentor who will help them grow on this journey. We can't wait to see what happens this year!

In the Registration Packet, you will find a 2021 District Fine Arts Festival Registration Form. Each student participating must complete the entire form, including all signatures. The 2021 District Fine Arts Festival Fee is $35 per student. There is an additional $20 fee for each category the student enters. The registration does not include the first category (EXAMPLE: student registers and enters into 1 category will equal a total of $55). Students can also register as a NON-participant for $20. Parents, families, and friends can also purchase NON-participant tickets as well for the same $20 price. All NON-participant tickets need to be purchased by February 24.

District Fine Arts is being held at Trinity Life Church in Lutherville, MD this year. This is about a 45 minute drive from Grace Church. Students planning to participate need to commit to the entire weekend to participate and support one another. This means they are committing to Friday night and Saturday (morning & afternoon).

At District Fine Arts, students will be judged on their performance for each category they participate in. These judges are here to encourage and help provide feedback for the students participating so they can be their very best. If the student scores well, they will earn an invitation to the National Fine Arts Festival this year in Orlando, Florida August 2-6. There will be more details provided for National Fine Arts at a later time.

Please look over the registration form and also the rules for each category so you know what to expect. If you have any questions, please email Pastor Bobby Hackett at bobby@graceofbelair.com

The Fine Arts Registration Form is available here. Registration forms are due Wednesday, January 27th.

The Fine Arts Rule Book is located here. Please review the rules for the categories you plan to participate in.
