Community Groups
We are forming a men’s competitive softball team for the upcoming spring and summer season in the Susquehanna Baptist Association Softball League. This league offers a great opportunity to compete, build strong community, and use athletics as a way to share the life-changing message of Jesus. An information sheet with league and team details is available upon request. Open to men ages 16 and older.
Cost: Approximately $50 per person for league and umpire fees, plus $20 for a team jersey.
MEETS: Tuesdays, 6 PM, March-Mid July
LOCATION: Grace Softball Field
LEADER: Thaddeus Tomlinson
Community Softball - If there’s enough interest, we will also have a Sunday afternoon group for open play softball. A casual, pickup-style softball group focused on fun, fellowship, and community. We play together on the church field with no league play or competition, no fees, and just a relaxed space for all skill levels to connect and enjoy time together.
MEETS: Sunday afternoons
LOCATION: Grace Field
Golden Age is a monthly gathering for adults ages 55 and up to connect, share a meal, and build meaningful community. We meet at different local restaurants after the church service to enjoy good food, great conversation, and time together. Whether you’re new to Grace or have been here for years, you’re welcome to pull up a chair and join us.
MEETS: Monthly after-service February 15, March 29, April 26
LOCATION: TBD
LEADERS: Frank and Marvy Padilla Pietrowicz
Do you draw, paint, scrapbook, knit, crochet, or enjoy other creative outlets? Discover a new passion or enhance an existing skill while enjoying worship music with friends. Bring your own art or craft supplies for the project you plan to work on.
MEETS: Monthly, Saturday Mornings
LOCATION: Grace Main Lobby
LEADERS: Juli Luckett & Lanae Cherry
All ages and experience levels are invited to learn the practice of winter seed sowing together. As we plant seeds during the dormant season, we’ll reflect on how God is still moving, growing, and at work even when things appear quiet or still. Through hands-on learning, conversation, and community, we’ll explore both practical gardening skills and spiritual truths—trusting that new life is taking root beneath the surface.
MEETS: Monthly on Saturday Mornings 9AM-11AM, 2/28, 3/28, 5/2
LOCATION: Grace Main Lobby
LEADER: Beth Jutras, Master Gardner
