remix youth

Remix Youth is designed for middle and high school students in grades 6-12.  We exist to CONNECT students with each other through healthy relationships, to GROW in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and to REACH the lost with the gospel.

Every Wednesday you can expect a night that includes fun, interactive games, live music, and a message you can relate to and understand. Three Wednesdays of the month we conclude our services with connect groups. In connect groups we break up into smaller groups based on ages, for example middle school boys, middle school girls, freshman, sophomores, etc.

Each quarter we have a 6-week session of Remix Middle on Sunday mornings! This is just for middle school age students and take place on Sunday mornings following worship in the 2nd service. Remix Middle is designed for middle schoolers and includes a game, a change to get to know other students and leaders, and a message they can understand and relate to.

In addition to our weekly Wednesday night gathering, we participate in and offer various events throughout the year; Youth Camp, mission trips both locally and abroad, small groups, leadership development, District and National Fine Arts Festival, and Youth Convention.

Our goal is to spiritually prepare students to live out their faith beyond their high school graduation and into their adulthood.

Extreme Family outreach

This Fall we will partner with Extreme Family Outreach Programs on Tuesday's from 4-6:30 PM through their after school programs for kids. Extreme Family Outreach is run by Steve Gambrill (otherwise known as the Balloon Man). Extreme Family Outreach is faith based and has also been recognized by Harford County several times for awards due to their impact in Harford County. Their mission is to have a direct impact on children and their families by providing programs in the heart of the community to help ensure positive futures for those kids and families in need. The dates we plan to help them with their after school programs are September 4, 11, 18, October 16, 23, and 30th.

The location of these programs take place in Somer Set Manor in Havre de Grace (4-5 PM), Bradford Green Site in Havre de Grace (5:30-6:30 PM), and Perrywood Garden Site in Aberdeen (5:30-6:30). Whether you can help the entire time or just one site only, they would love for you to join and help impact these neighborhoods.

Students can fill out the application that is attached by no later than Sunday, September 2. The only cost will be for shirts that are needed for the volunteers ($16). If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Bobby at

Student Leadership

Are you a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in High School? Ready to be developed as a leader and discipled in a leadership capacity? Consider joining the student leadership team!

Leadership is a choice, and it’s one I hope you’ll make. Leadership isn’t just another program to attend. Our student leadership team isn’t just for a select few. Leadership isn’t about having an extroverted and outgoing personality. Being a leader is a personal commitment.

The most meaningful commitments are tough to keep, but they are worth the effort because our priorities determine who we are, and who we are becoming. This info packet will help you understand the leadership commitment, and it’s our goal that you’ll reach for this high standard. I expect a lot from our leaders because this was the model Jesus taught for leadership.

Interested? Good! Follow the link below to find out more. I’m praying for you and hope that you choose to make this commitment to serve and grow.
